Sioux Falls FC traveled to the Twin Cities to take on Joy AC. Sioux Falls were up 2-1 at half and then a few minutes into the 2nd half the game was halted because the referee heard thunder. This turned into a very lengthy delay that we spent sitting on the bus. Three plus hours after the initial kickoff we were back on the field. (The lightning was closer when we resumed play then when we stopped, but that is another story) Joy was anxious to resume the game, but Sioux Falls crushed any hope they had with a 3rd goal and went on to win 3-1.
